Transformers: Dark of the Moon 

is an upcoming video game that will be the prequel to the film of the same name.

Premise

It has been two years since Megatron and the evil Decepticons last threatened the world. Earth's leaders believe that Megatron has fled the planet in defeat but Optimus Prime knows better. An alien transmission is intercepted, exposing Megatron's plan to spread chaos among the humans and unleash Shockwave. The Autobots must stop Megatron's plans before it is too late.



Gameplay

Gameplay is similar to Transformers: War for Cybertron's gameplay, in which the game is a third-person shooter.Stealth Force, a much touted feature of the game, combines these two forms to play to create a sort of hybrid that allows the use of weapons in robot mode while maintaining the agility of vehicle mode.

Versions

PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360

The game will feature 18 missions located in different places of the Earth, such as jungles of South America, Siberian military facilities, and Detroit cityscapes. In multiplayer players can choose from four distinct character class chassis (Scout, Commander, Hunter and Warrior) and unique weapon loadouts to create their own Cybertronian. Players can also level up their character by earning experience points in every match and unlock new character skills and abilities. Players can pick an optional Autobot side and an optional Decepticon side in multiplayer. The single player campaign consists of seven chapters, the first three chapters are Autobot based, the next three are Decepticon missions, and the final chapter is an Autobot 

mission.

Wii and Nintendo 3DS

The Wii and Nintendo 3DS will be receiving a special Stealth Force Edition. The game will feature "Split Screen Multiplayer Wage war" for the Nintendo Wii and you can "play the entire game in Stealth Force and wield the power of high intensity weapons in vehicular combat".On the 3DS's Stealth Force Edition the entire game can be played in Stealth Force mode, and players can wield the power of high intensity weapons in vehicular combat. A total of 18 Stealth Force missions are included on the 3DS. If the Wii version of the game is bought at Channel Wide, an original Bumblebee toy will be included. If the 3DS version of the game is bought at Toys R' Us, an exclusive inverted Bumblebee in-game character skin will be included. For the Wii, a Bumblebee deco in-game character will be available if the game is bought at Target.

Nintendo DS

The Autobot and Decepticon versions return. If this version of the game is bought at Channel Wide, an original Bumblebee toy will be included with the Autobots version and an original Lockdown toy with the Decepticons version. If this version of the game is bought at Target, an exclusive Bumblebee deco in-game character for the Autobots version will be included and an exclusive Lockdown deco in-game character for Decepticons version.
